Raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Yari De Leon is the youngest of seven children. A natural performer, her mother began entering her in talent shows while she was still in middle school.

Her talent blossomed when she and her mother moved to Coral Springs, Florida when she was eleven years old. In high school she studied drama and her vivacious personality soon landed her a cheerleading position.
Her passion for talent shows continued and by age fourteen she won Best Imitator and Dancer in the Young Talent Contest in Miami, Florida. Years later, Yari was thrilled when she was selected to appear on The Cristina Show, the Latin equivalent of Oprah, to imitate her idol, Thalia.
