In times when leaders of major tech companies are able to exercise unprecedented influence over economic, social and political processes, the question of political subjectivity is, once again, back on the table.

At least some constituencies believe that corporate leadership is the only option left for addressing multiple global crises and achieving progressive goals given the inaction of public actors. Perhaps, some form of visionary corporate agency relying on groundbreaking scientific discoveries may even come close to what Alain Badiou describes as political subjectivity.
